The National Tax Conference is one of the flagship projects of ELSA Poland, creating a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience, thanks to which participants acquire new competences useful at university and on the career path.
This year's edition of the event is held under the slogan "Contemporary challenges for the tax law system" which aims to analyze the most important problems and changes that have appeared in the world of tax law. Emphasis will be put on the domestic and international aspects throughout 2021 and 2022 along with a constructive discussion on the above-mentioned topics.
The conference was divided into two days. On October 26 organizers planned plenty of lectures and an experts debate, while on October 27, participants will have the opportunity to participate in certified workshops and make use of the acquired knowledge in practice.
The project enjoys unflagging interest, which is illustrated by the fact that throughout all editions it was visited by thousands of law students and many theoreticians and practitioners specializing in tax law, and last year it was attended by over half a thousand people. The event has also been supported for years by the largest consulting companies and the National Chamber of Tax Advisors. The Main Partner of the XXIII edition is Hogan Lovells - one of the largest and most innovative law firms based on the Financial Times classification.
During the conference, the following topics will be discussed:
- taxes and the situation in the world,
- technological solutions in the tax system,
- revolutions and evolutions in tax law.
The agenda of this year's edition will be enriched with an innovative expert debate, during which specialists will reflect on the extremely important issue "Is it possible for the tax system to be less complicated?"
The event will take place in a hybrid form in Warsaw.
