We are pleased to announce that the next, 23rd annual conference of the International Center of Public Finance and Tax Law Research will be hosted by the Faculty of Law of the István Széchenyi University in Győr (Hungary). The conference will be co-organized by the Central and Eastern European Association for Public Administration (https://kte.sze.hu/en_GB/home) and will take place on September 26-27, 2024.
The theme of the conference will be „new challenges and new technologies in public administration, public finances, and tax law”. Without creating a closed list of issues, we encourage you to present the results of your research in the field of: digital transformation in public administration; innovations in public finances; tax law in the digital age; legal and ethical implications; environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations in public administration; cybersecurity challenges in public administration and finance; cross-border taxation and regulatory cooperation; innovations in tax compliance and administration; legal and regulatory challenges of emerging technologies; crisis management and legal preparedness.
Typical scientific tracks and a seminar for Ph.D. students (with a presentation of Ph.D. students’ results and a lecture on research methodology) in English will be devoted to these issues. A novelty of the conference will be a track for practitioners, in particular judges, employees of tax offices, and employees of regional audit chambers, which will be held in Polish.
The results of your research, after obtaining positive reviews, can also be presented in writing. The list of journals will include approximately 10 foreign and Polish scientific periodicals.
We will provide detailed information in the New Year, but right now we cordially invite you to participate in our Center's conference.
